We know that going through a layoff can be difficult. We believe a good mentor can offer the friendly advice, helpful feedback or positive vibe you need to make it through a layoff. This is why our team at https://peervuu.com would like to help by organizing FREE mentorship conversations for those impacted by layoffs.  

This is how it will work:

1. Tell us in the survey below whether you want to receive mentoring or offer mentoring. 

2. We'll look through our 100+ Peervuu mentors and the others who sign up to mentor for this initiative and pair you up with just the right person.

3. We'll email you instructions on how to connect with your mentor or mentee. 

That's it! Pretty simple. We hope this can be a positive and helpful experience!

How long are the conversations?

We are only expecting our mentors to spend 30 minutes with each person. 

When can we expect our mentoring to be assigned?

We are trying to make all the mentoring connections within the month of January.

How many mentoring conversations can I expect to receive?

We are trying to ensure everyone who signs up gets at least one conversation, but no more than three. In this survey, you can tell us how many you are interested in receiving?

How many mentoring conversations can I expect to give if I sign up to mentor others?

Only as many as you are comfortable in giving. We ask you in this survey the amount you want to contribute.

How much will this cost me?

Nothing. 

Where will the conversations be held? 

If the mentor is on Peervuu.com, we would expect you to use our platform, which is pretty easy to use. If a mentor signs up to mentor but does not want to join Peervuu, we will connect you with that person and you can decide how to best meet up. 

What can my mentor help me with?

Mentors can help with job search strategy, job interviewing practice, resume review and more. In our survey, you can indicate what help you are interested in receiving.
